Sleep Well

Our approach to the bedrooms is based soundly on a maxim often forgotten by hotels: that a night’s sleep will only be as good as the bed itself.

So we source only the best Vi-Spring beds.  It is no coincidence that our visitors’ books and inbox are full of requests for their details.

Our bedrooms are about melting into one of the books that lie around the building, listening to a Radio 4 play on the Roberts radio or staring out to the sea or to the sheep flecked moors.

Some guests are even are sufficiently hypnotised to wait for the hooved shuffle of the cows on their twice-daily amble to and from milking.

What you will see in our rooms are those Roberts Radios, fresh flowers, White Company toiletries, local art and warm, Welsh blankets.

And your breakfast will set you up for the day. Cornish yoghurt, house-made jams, local apple juice, toast you make when you want it and a choice of kippers or a full English breakfast. If only we could join you.

The Sunday Sleepover

So popular, we should trademark it. Includes Sunday lunch, supper, your room and breakfast on Monday.

What could be better than kicking back after Sunday lunch and watching everyone else retreat to the Sunday night blues.

From £77.50 per person and available from the first Sunday in September through to May, except during holidays and half terms, or on the Sunday nearest to Valentine's Day.

Choose a room

We will shortly post photographs so that you can choose which room best suits your needs (Room 5 is above). In the meantime here are some simple descriptions.

All rooms have en suite showers and Room 7 has a bath. Room 1 has more than a glimpse but less than a view of the sea. Room 7 definitely has a view of the sea. But don’t be fooled into thinking the views of the moor are second best.

All of our rooms have had major improvements made to them in our January refurbishment.  We hope that you will like the changes.

1

Small Double
Looks towards the Atlantic.

2

Small Double
Ideal for single traveller.  Overlooks moor.

3

4

5

7
