Ever popular resolutions to difficult present problems, our vouchers can be with you within a couple of days.

For any amount or for a particular offer, they last 12 months and we’re happy to extend them if needed.  They are usable not only here but at The Old Coastguard and at The Felin Fach Griffin up in Wales.

Do email us here if you think we can help.  Sad as it was to leave our previous Blue Peter efforts, we now have proper voucher holders to make for a better present all round.

Into Spring

We're open for lunch and supper right through the Easter holidays.  Much as we prefer spontaneity, if you'd like to join us, it's always best to call ahead (01736 796 928) to ensure you have a table when you want one.

The Spring Sleepover

From 17 April

These are grand days in West Cornwall.  Gorse, rhododendrons and a general sense of lightness and joy.

The Spring Sleepover was born to give guests the chance to stay with us for a few days, eating here or across the moor at The Old Coastguard and enjoy this extraordinary area at its best.

From £329 for 2 nights or £455 for 3 nights, including dinner.  If it makes sense, combine with a stay at The Old Coastguard.

The Sunday Sleepover

Our first offer at The Griffin back when some of our most recent recruits hasn't even graduated to primary school.

But still popular and good value from £205 for two people, including Sunday lunch and dinner here or at The Old Coastguard, and your room and breakfast.  A little less when the Winter Escape returns in November.

Many of you come for a bit of eat, plenty of sleep and perhaps a little drink. And you love to have the freedom to do what you want during the day. But some may wish for a little more structure.

So 2015 saw us introduce new sleepover packages and daily outings which bring you together with some of the very talented people who live here in Cornwall.

We have a full calendar of events, including the festivals which take place around us: if you'd like a PDF please drop us an email here

9 - 23 September

Jazz, poetry, dance, readings.  St. Ives' September Festival has been giving a voice to the talents of Cornwall and beyond since 1977.  Now an important cultural fortnight bringing visitors from all over the UK.  Tickets available from here.

Our Wild Food Walks from The Old Coastguard and Forage & Feast Days from here at The Gurnard's Head are integral parts of our EDS+ timetable.

Walk the footpaths, hedgerows and shorelines of West Penwith, foraging for ingredients on the way, with the wonderful Caroline Davey of Fat Hen.

The 2017 programme includes Forage & Feast Days on 5 May and 8 September.  More details from Caroline's website where you can book tickets.

“The Gurnard’s Head is so laid-back it seemed only apt to be blown horizontal when we did eventually leave.”
